Have had rails, bobbers, streeters and the like - GOIN' AFTER IT AGAIN!!! My son is absolutely stoked. We will be submitting pics soon. We bought this vert from son of Hoyt Axton - it was cute but petty much a pig. We are reworking everything a bit at a time. New 2007cc motor is pretty much done, roll cage is being built now, new seats, will be getting my old trick tranny if the guy I sold it to will sell it back to me. i cave him a great deal on my whole stock when I was injured and lost my ability to work for years. But he may let me have it back. Body is coming off in a week or two for a total ground up recondition. Linex top and bottom of pan, inside panes of body, etc. New ball joint front end until next winter rebuild. All new steel mounts for my old tranny, sheathed marine cables, kybs, front and rear guards, new glass and paint. First p |

| Comments: | Great Site. 1972 VW Baja Bug, 1835cc w.dual Kadrons, custom rear cage, and exhaust, self built. Raised front beam w/2.5 raised ball joint spindles. Stock rear trailing arms w/930 cv's, 930 stub axles and now has 8.5" of rear travel. Tranny built by Stuff-it Trans has 4.37 ring & pinion, HD side plates, super diff, welded 3-4th gears with an .93 4th gear. Just finished restoring the car last year, it was a beautiful street car, but decided to get more fun out of it and cut it up into a baja bug. | Comments: | I have been bouncing back and forth to make it a streeter or a baja. It already has trimmed rear fenders and 215/75/15 BFG Mudtires. I really want to do an all metal conversion, and used to know a great site about it, but now I don't. I will be putting the BFG's on the front, and get me some 30x10.5's for the rear on some 15x8 steely wheels. What I would like to know is, how to really soten the suspension?. | Comments: | I signed your book in May. In Aug. I finally bought my baja. 1600 w/Compu-fire Distributorless ignition. Already cut with Baja kit installed. As soon as I get my manuals from Amazon.com I will start reworking the wiring, sunroof and suspension. Really cool sight! |

| Comments: | My 69 is a bucket load of fun. I have put 31x10.50's rear and 700x15 front. cut and turned the front end. I have plans to convert to king and link and up grade the front. I still have a stock 1600 but it will soon be doing better when i get the bus trans in. Always looking for someone to go playing with. So if your in town let me know. |
